The Gaiwan is very beautiful and has no defect on all 3 parts. The 220ml is max capacity ehilr normal usage is 150ml. This is the widely applied volume for Gaiwan tee. Since the edges are quite wide, fingers also don't feel too hot.

I love this Gaiwan. I use it as a teacup and the lid keeps the tea hot. I recommend it and it's pretty and well-made too!

This is the perfect size to brew a cup in. It's pretty hearty too. I dropped the lid once and it didn't even crack. (This is not me saying it's unbreakable) it also has a nice weight to it so I don't feel like I'm going to break it when I miss Judge my strength.

This gaiwan is only the second I’ve ever owned, but I find it to be excellent. For the $43.80 I paid, I got a perfectly sized gaiwan for one (or two very small cups) that is easy to hold and pour. Its high and narrow lid and widely flared mouth keep your fingers away from your hot tea, and the lid is easy to position for proper pouring while holding the tea leaves in. I also dig the art, which is clear and attractive. Importantly, it’s what I expected from the pictures on the listing.
